ATELIER DEK is a specialised centre of DEKTRADE a.s., with presence in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Our work is based on the general building insulation and structure theory developed in the KUTNAR - HYDRO TERMO IZOLACE STAVEB building insulation centre, drawing on many years of experience of our staff and of production, installation, commercial, design and court-appointed professionals. We honour the traditions of Czech and global insulation technology, incorporating the results of modern research and development trends.

In addition to its head office in Prague, ATELIER DEK operates in all branches of DEKTRADE, providing primarily technical support to all installation firms, designers and investors.
We have been providing free-of-charge technical support for many years. We assist with information on the properties of DEKTRADE materials, their application in design, and provide guidance for the correct installation, in particular the following:- Designs of structure composition including a basic thermal and technical assessment of building envelopes – normal conditions (building envelopes in standard housing and civil construction), light external cladding – normal conditions (sheet metal sandwich, plaster carton structures, non-standard sloping roofs)
- Assessment or design of anti-radon insulation
- Calculation of wind load, design of roofing fixation (glue requirement, positioning of tiles, anchoring design)
- Laying plan for foam polystyrene sloping thermal insulation panels including POLYDEK parts
- Anchor weighing tests - on request
- Supervision of DEKTRADE product installation – on request
