Roofs, facades & insulation [Střechy, fasády & izolace in czech language] Seminar is organized annually by The Building Insulation Studio and The Expert and Consulting Office KUTNAR – Building Insulation with the support of DEKTRADE, DEKMETAL, DEKSTONE and DEKWOOD. These seminars are usually concentrating on the problems of insulation techniques and building physics. However, contributions from other fields of the building industry are also presented. Lectures by The Building Insulation Studio employees draw on research, supervisions and studies carried out the previous year. The experience gained is usually summarized and generalized in our manuals "Structures and details" for project engineers. The interpretation of new or supplemented manuals is also a part of the seminar's program.
Doc. Ing. Zdeněk Kutnar, CSc. every year prepares lectures from the insulation technology field exclusively for the participants of our seminars, combined with explanations of its general theories or experience with particular constructions, materials or systems under specific conditions. His lectures draw on the experience of The Expert and Consulting Office KUTNAR – Building Insulation.
It became a tradition that DEKTRADE introduces at the Roofs | facades | insulation seminars new additions to its product range. The problems of design and usage of presented materials or systems are explained in wider context – the general problem of given structures, materials or systems, the categorizing of similar materials and systems, their development or history, examples of their use including the explanation of their ties to surrounding constructions, detailed solutions, etc.
All contributions are presented with the help of slide shows, pictures and graphs. During the breaks or after the seminar it is possible to ask for additional information and explanation regarding the topics in the publications, technical data or exhibited models.
